Nothing is good here specially in one of FMCG(U L) domain project. Multi-vendor project, vendor are playing blame game here. Management are not supporting nature.

Dislikes

Appraisal process is hell, management are not supporting. Appraisal is here total time waist. No bonus Management give no opportunity of growth.

Comparatively better job security. Good amount of materials available for self learning.

Dislikes

Salary is bad, be prepare to work on nearly the same salary at which you join, for ever. Old timer Kanbay employees holding most of the senior positions and won’t let other more deserving employees to rise, lot of politics for promotions etc. don’t stay for more then 1-2 years even if you join.

In the name of diversity, only women get the promotions and external hires are done at a higher grade where deserving internal candidates wait for promotions. Project performance benefits are not shared to teams who does the hard yard.

Getting your invoices cleared is a headache even though they are in company policy. Work culture is shit, we get managers email to work on weekends to complete trainings. Unresponsive managers for your concerns. Just a body shop company, nothing beyond it.

Capgemini is a very professional company who manages business, client relations, staff relations in a nice way. I have worked with many consulting companies in past., Capgemini is the best in my experience.

Dislikes

Capgemini should try to recruit people within same onshore countries, rather to bring loads of people from offshore countries just because of low cost.

I like the consulting nature of work, especially in data related fields. Basically, you get to work across different set of problems in various domains. Rare to see such things in a Service based company.

Forget about year-on-year hike. Hikes are absolute minimal.
