In case the task required to be hurried, time was later given to relax, before starting a new task. Trainings were good and knowledgeable. You were never denied leaves, provided you applied atleast 45 days in advance, for long leaves. Otherwise also managers and team leads were good and understanding. As mentioned, job stability was not there. Once you are out of a project and HRs are not showing enough interest to get you interviews for new projects, you should understand that the company wants you to quit. You would immediately understand this shift in behaviour, once you are out of a project and no one contacts you for next three weeks.

This company is worst in all the criterias listed above. I lost my job due to company politics & no support from the leadership/senior management when I was critically ill. The seniors never support you in the critical times and they play politics in order to get you out of the company. Work life balance is good. Company culture is very good. Job security is normally good although in some teams especially when market is bad, Capgemini has strict bench policy.
Appraisals are very poor. Like 5% average for top performers. Some BUs offer 8% (for top performers). Promotion hike is also less. Sometimes people get dry promotion. Otherwise company is good.

Too much politics ...RMG, Hr and junior managers don't know how to talk with new joiners or with employees. Hr's and manager are too confused about job role and salary/ location discussion. At first they agree on everything but once you joined they company they deny on everything that has been discussed earlier even if it's on mail ..and put you on bench and after 6 months asked you to leave due to bench period over or you are not able to be billable. Also your probation with not be confirmed and having said that they will kick you out of the company. Even if you complain to HR about the issues. So if you want to stay in this company don't stand for your rights and just stay as per them because manager and HR ...they can change policy anytime as per their convenience and ask to to obey otherwise there will be termination which leads to no job security in this company....Read More
