Branded MNC & learnt alot of skills, and mainly experience is valuable(as it's a branded MNC)for more promotion jobs in future.

No job security. 60-70% protocols for termination, even if u work hard, if you can't do showoff infront of your manager, in her mind she thinks you don't have knowledge.

Capgemini believes in work life balance. We used to have furloughs. Otherwise also tasks were not rushed. Sufficient time was given for each task. In case the task required to be hurried, time was later given to relax, before starting a new task. Trainings were good and knowledgeable. You were never denied leaves, provided you applied atleast 45 days in advance, for long leaves. Otherwise also managers and team leads were good and understanding. As mentioned, job stability was not there. Once you are out of a project and HRs are not showing enough interest to get you interviews for new projects, you should understand that the company wants you to quit. You would immediately understand this shift in behaviour, once you are out of a project and no one contacts you for next three weeks.

Work life balance is really good... If you get a chance to work in the development n the implementation projects you'll find really helpful teammates but on the other side in the support project you might face some issues.

Promotions, appraisal are way to far away from CG. Learning new tech and acquiring new skills are not present in the work culture of CG

No salary, always given excuse even if we work hard, have been in Capgemini for last 10 Yeats they don't bother for increment. New joiners gets good hike and at last they are non performance, all work we have to do

The work timing are so flexible, atleast in my project. The client side technical team are so supportive and encourages to learn new technologies and gives a chance to implement in the project.

They ask us to come to office 3 days a week but you cannot visit the nearest office though you don't have a team to collaborate in the specified location they ask you to visit that office which is not even necessary atleast to complete the 3 days/week policy they can allow us to visit the nearest office. But how they can allow employees to be relax!! You need to travel extra 1 hour just to be in the office alone. They will give you promotions without any hike or just 1K/month as a hike....Read More

Safe and sound job as i was deployed at client site .No issues as such apart from 0 to 5% yearly hike only .

Dislikes

0 to 5% yearly hike hardly . No promotions . If someone has 10 LPA then 2-3% hike means nothing . Project change next to impossible though they have 18 months rule . 0 Variable for year you exit from company
