Work life balance is good. Company culture is very good. Job security is normally good although in some teams especially when market is bad, Capgemini has strict bench policy.
Appraisals are very poor. Like 5% average for top performers. Some BUs offer 8% (for top performers). Promotion hike is also less. Sometimes people get dry promotion. Otherwise company is good.

Popular paid certifications are not free for Capgemini. There is a process so that half amount will be paid by company but there's lots of terms and conditions, and even the payment is not done on time. Barely any salary hike after 2.5 years

Capgemini has degraded now, the leadership management sucks and the peanuts salary they are providing is only to feed 1 person, they are changing policies frequently at all levels with no prior notice.
Leadership is not having proper vision, consideration for employees have reduced a lot over the years, they hire mostly fresh graduates and women employees to pay them less, really bad increments, people with 10 years of exp, staying here are earning way less than market standards. if you wish to stay stagnant and want no growth monetarily join Capgemini !

HR professionals do not join Capgemini. The worst thing is the company culture, If you have enough butter and oil then an individual can grow here. No upskilling and opportunities in IJP. The HR doesn't share full HR Policy about benefits and appraisal and HR manual to employees. Annual increment depends on manager biased. The worst part is 90 days notice period without any buyout option. The company interview is full of drama and they'll put you in a servicedesk job and make your job profile worst everyday. My manager and team are always encouraging, making it easy to collabourate, learn and grow. one of the biggest challenges has been the salary hikes and promotions cycle, especially for freshers. the increments are quite low, and carrer progression feels slow due to a lack of transparency in the promotion process. Despite receiving strong performance ratings from manager(2 which is very good), HR often downgrade it to 3(average) citing arbitary reasons such as incomplete training modules or remote work policies.
