I think there is not much about the pros of Accenture just that it doesn't release bench employees too soon.
First and main thing, work culture. It has become very toxic and they pull out the hell out of you. A big shout for working mother's please don't join Accenture if you are WFH. They just do not understand the challenges we face as a mother and they expect you to be pro active all the time till late evening as well.

It provides the flexibility in working from home, and some project only requires 5 days a month in office with team dinner
Projects are very less , we have to be in Bench for long time , noone will approach us to put in a project if we are hardlock to any training incubation projects , those incubation project are not billable , hence it will affect our variable pay and monthly performance.

Promotion and hikes are based on buttering skills, favoritism and not on the hard work. Hardworking employees often end up with more tasks, while others work for few hours a day. The Major Pros of Accenture is it's perks and attractive salary for which every employee crave for. Growth and learning is also captivating.

There are some good projects with many opportunities to work on new tech.
1. Lots of untalented folks on-shore are just doing assistant jobs with inflated tech role titles, this puts all the pressure and work on clients and the off-shore teams. Management expects you to work >12+ hours a day if you are in a senior/lead role to offset the incompetence of the on-shore folks. There have been instances where off-shore resources were asked to extend for 16 hours/day. 2. There is a lot of petty politics and they follow no clear standards for hiring people for tech roles with a very low standard of interview process. 3. Managers treat senior folks like trading horses and do not care for their aspirations, you are locked to projects without any interviews or alignment with the tech skills under the pretext of organizational requirements and are forced to work. 4. HRs do not reply/respond to any employees unless you contact them through your People Leads or Managers. They tend to dismiss employee's concerns, simply reiterating management's perspective. 5. There is a significant discrepancy between the variable compensation mentioned in the offer letters and the actual amount disbursed by the payroll. 100% of LVB earned is never going to be >50% of your LVB mentioned in your offer letter....Read More

1. Timings are really bad especially in WFH. The work hours extend more than 12 hours. You don't have any personal time left. I worked in 2nd shift (12:30 to 9:30pm) but still people ping you at 2 am in the night expecting you to reply asap. You are expected to start responding from 11am in the morning till forever in night and attend late night calls which are scheduled for 11pm. 2. They don't give increment after the end of fiscal year. From last 2 years there has been no increment in salary. They just give you hopes that you will get it next year. Poor work life balance, Retaliation happens even when they say they are against it but when you say to your big leads NO which you're not comfortable doing it, they make sure your life goes hell in the company.
