Tons of things to say. First of all, no good trainings given to the new employees. All the team leaders, bosses and managers are in real hurry from day one. There is no proper introduction given about the company and also about the works/tasks we are supposed to do. The place we work is dirty, noisy and ergonomically poorly designed. Other senior employees laugh, talk, murmur while working so it gets very difficult for the new comers to work in a focused manner in a quiet environment. Hardly any breaks for food in a 8-10 hrs shift. Lastly Accenture hired me in a rotational job shift but after clearing all my interviews when I was hired I was out to work only in night shift. I also questioned them that we had an agreement that I would be working in Accenture in a rotational shift position then why are you guys assigning me only night shift!? Well they were speechless and had their backs against the wall and didn’t have any answers. Such things happen in Accenture India. I would highly recommend people to first see the workplace, the work and the timings you all are getting hired for and then if everything is fine then only join. I am not seeing any good thing regarding learning point of view, work point of view. Yeah good thing you will get so many event mail like secret santa, fun friday but you can't participate if you don't have good relation with manager. They are not entertain other state people, means if you are from other state people except south india then they will be trouble, no1 support you, no1 will bother what you are doing atlast they will not give you anything and they will give you the different reason. Everything is dislike. If you are not from south indian then you will be trouble. I am requesting to Accenture if you don't like other state people then don't hire other state people and don't spoil other sate resources career. You are giving money that means you can't do anything with your employee.

People have their own projects and work independently with onshores and not Indian managers

Toxic work environment. If you raise genuine concerns or issues with management they will not listen and then tag it you as complaint box. This will also affect ur rating. Protect their favourites. People who butter the Indian leads gets promotion within a year or two and get good joke. Favouritism is very much prevalent.

1. Worst internal politics and favouritism. 2. always prioritising work over a Health. 3. No guarantee on Saturday offs. The only reason they have is client requirement. Firstly they will say it is for few days, but in long run, it will be like regular.

Salary not up to the standard compared to work. Very poor leadership and management. Poor Functional Managers and Tech leads (Not very skillful) Poor Canteen facilities. Leaves and Holiday Policy. Promotion/Appriasal is below par.

No team lead and manager support for right things, no proper work management. Lots of favorism when it comes to support and work handover. Threatening employee verbally and telling they will terminate just by sending an email

Good learning curve. Good use cases at times which makes way for knowledge growth.

Dislikes

Appraisals and Promotions are random. Less deserving people are promoted. People who are leading even their seniors and delivering complex projects by taking complete ownership are not given promotion. Incentives for hard work is minimal. Something else apart from MERIT drives promotions here.

I would say this whole-ly depends on the client and the team you end up in. The people you work with on a daily basis, the developers you interact with, the testers and POs. In terms of work ethic and deliverable quality, I feel I work with the best minds in this team, and that makes me want to become and push my skillset.

The team you work with, work life balance goes in a shambles. Zero Socializing, teams meets, anything that isnt work, doesnt have space on the calendar of the team i work in. Been with this current client of mine for close to 2 years and i haven't met anyone from the team, other than knowing what they sound like, i have no clue about them. Being paid in peanuts, not meeting people, weekends are workdays at times. It kind of starts to get to you, but at times it feels like everyone is going through the same and we cant complain. on they are also reducing the team size by more than 50% stating budgeting issues? which from an employees perspective doesnt make sense....Read More
