The only thing that is good here for now is that WFO is not mandatory.

I switched to Accenture thinking that it'll have better work culture and the disappointment I had! I don't know how so many sub standard people are working here and how they got hired. I have had people with 14 years of experience ask me how to change the header color of a table on an email and ask me to format their emails. This is just an example. There are tens of such incidents with different people. My DU has been good, because the team was actually another company before which was acquired by Accenture. While I was working for my DU, from people perspective within team everything was good. Once I started working as a loaned resource, all the hell broke loose, the real picture of Accenture become evident. So many incompetent people!! The working culture is toxic. There is no work life balance. When people started moving out due to no promotions and appraisal since a year, Accenture started to move them to PIP. There is lot of internal politics.

Abundant trainings, they focus on providing courses, if you are doing just fine at your job you will not have to worry about job security, also if you are a cunning person, you will get onsite.

I came to know that here different departments like Technology and opretions like that technology people will get career growth by skillup training and exams. And in operation no one talks on it and that doesn't applicable to operations department.

As some of my friends also work in Accenture but on different projects have very toxic culture and some have more better than mine. Promotion and hikes also very low from last 2 years. Accenture is a good company but it depends upon the project and the project head you want to work under. The new Project head ruined the culture, making managers as puppets and treating employees as labours.

Work Place, Ambiance is Good. People's are cooperative and very professional.

Dislikes

They Lay off employees if the employee is unable to clear the assessments. Extremely high expectations and Target's in up selling. It's not purely customer service but basically a sales work that conduct customer service. Some people keep grudges (senior's) due to that it's really hard to work professionally.

Job is not secure. If a project gets ram-down then your job is on risk. And you were expected to search for a new project or role by your own. No HR or anyone comes for any assistance or help. This should be improve and role search and secure should be handled by HR or management only.
