Am I getting Lowball offer?
I currently work at Accenture and, after 4 years and 3 months of experience, have a fixed pay of 7.33 L (7.9 L CTC).
I recently qualified for Senior Data Engineer at IBM and got an offer for 13.92 L (1299200 fixed, 66342 PF and 26537 Gratuity). I wanted to check if this offer is fine or if I am getting a lowball offer for the Gurugram location.

The jump in fixed pay is a big improvement, but for a Senior Data Engineer role in Gurugram, you could probably negotiate a bit higher. Have you considered discussing with HR?

I dont think you're being lowballed. The increase in pay is great, but never hesitate to negotiate! The worst they can say is no, and the best? A better package for you!

That’s a good pay jump! Have you had a chance to compare it with what other companies are offering for similar roles in Gurugram?

The ever leading topic of notice period
I am working currently as a team lead for hcl and since idiotically I didn't switch any companies from start 2019 till now, I have a measly ctc of 4.3 lpa.I got an offer accepting 8lpa , but they are demanding to join in 15 days. And hcltech, being the company it is, is having 90 days notice period, negotiable to 60 days only.Initial negotiation with my current manager and the new company hr didn't go over that well, I am in a bind now.Any suggestions?
