I have started working in tcs in 2019 and its been a 2 year 7 month in tcs as a process associate in BPS on base of b.com. i would suggest not to join tcs as a fresher because they will put you in any process due to which you have to work forcefully even if you don't wont to work in such process and you can also say it a call centerbecause in BPS there are 98% night shift and calling process and also if you think to get out of tcs then as per the experience you have to work in same field if you want increment in salary. All other things are very good like work environment and many other thing So i would suggest join as a experience so that you will get best role you want and also salary , as a fresher you get very low salary and yearly they increase it by 300-400rs per month max , so increment is very low which is the reason many people leave the company and their is more recruitment every year in TCS....Read More

A gets 8% to 12% (if your boss recommends higher pay hike so there's no way to guys getting A band are treated equally based on their performance. Promotions are not merit based. So you have to ask for it, make noise and keep following up. If you're an introvert, forget your promotion. HR policies are strictly enforced in the letter. Not even HR knows the spirit of the rules. Someone on the bench is asked to travel 45kms one way to spend 9 hours in the office only for the compliance to RTO rules. TCS cares is a myth. Salary hike is literally so bad, there will no zeal left in you to work hard. Buttering your manager is considered the only option to get promotion in the company and it's a fact.
