Micro Management, no work-life balance 14 -18 hrs of work, infact we get call on Saturday and Sunday for there work. No scope of promotion and salary increment.

Everything has changed after Ratan Tata sir's demise. Company policies and values corrupted and management has become worst. No job security, sudden layoffs when the project ends or roles redundancy happens due to client having billing issues.

Dislikes

Everything- HR management is really worse and don't consider employee concerns, rather they consider the finance team or allocation management, and HR is like puppets to the Management and Finance team.

Little job security unless and until you don't violate company security policy noone will fire you.

Dislikes

Paying low salary to existing employees and hiring outside candidates in average package. And giving yearly hike of just 2-3% however in media they will show 7-10% sometimes more. Higher management doesn't bother about you. They want their work done. Most of the higher management company working on toxic behaviour. A lot of people are on bench some are since year. Being a TCS's I can say TATA is best choice as a last company because if you start your career in middle or early stage you can't see good growth. If you start tata in last stage truly you get good roles where you can manage instead taking stressed with coding and other mental stress. Nothing specific, but one thing I can say before TATA sir and after TATA sir there are lots of changes brought in policies and I can't see that much great employee job security

It's a eco friendly campus, I was working in Pune hinjwadi. If we have time we can utilise the ground or invest our time in playing games or gym but completely depends on work and our project. It's good for working mothers but if your manager doesn't support you there will not be any work life balance. Other than job security/campus I didn't see anything great about TCS

There is a very minimal hike and no promotion nor growth. TCS is no more employee friendly. We have to go office all 5 days which is hell these days.... there is no support and policies are name sake but what ever project decide employees should follow.

I would suggest TCS is not good choice for freshers , if your going to settle for lifetime and looking for secured job then go for TCS

It’s a company where the employees concern s are, doesn’t matter. They will make you work like day night andwill not pay you what you need to get paid. The high is like 1% if you do some extra work with the manager or do exactly what they are saying, then only will get promotions and nothing will be increased in your salary. It willbe remaining same. No new skill set will be required to learn because there is no growth with the skill set in the dumb people are there who are not ready to accept the New working pattern to follow they are still living in 90s and 2000 work culture. HR policies are bad and they keep hidden until we don’t ask eg: being experience joiner they won’t get any financial increment in 1 years completetion of work. It’s TCS policy that they won’t share .

Once upon a time I liked TCS about the industry standards, reputation,work life balance and skill development concepts.

After join in to TCS got to know nothing would be like how the outside world of TCS been projected.PPL are not been allocated to projects based on there skills and experience,if there is an requirement in support or SD projects they pull forcefully in to those projects with out any intimation to the employee.If the employee decline to be in such project HR will threat the employee and be unprofessional towards the employee. Even if we complain to higher officials about the unprofessional behaviour they don't take any action about it.
