Worst policies, I have joined TCS for the name sake and compromised on desired salary as well. After 8 months of joining. One of HR called me you have put resign or we will terminate you. because your some documents are not marching with their policies. TCS have hired some BGC companies to verify documents and then they get to know after 8 months. They have spoiled my career of 7 years. Now, I am looking for a job. I will never ever recommend to work TATA group. ( I have confirmed with some of TCS contacts, they have also got fired after some months joining.)...Read More

Confused about Salary negotiations

CTC - 8 LPA Loc - Bengaluru, India I have been working in the same company for the last 5 years. My salary went from 3.6 LPA to 8 LPA over the years. I recently put papers, and, started giving interviews. I got an offer from TCS for 15 LPA(12.8 fixed). For more than a month, I've been giving interviews, asking for 18 LPA and many HRs are rejecting straight away, citing it is more than 100% hike from my current CTC. I kept trying and now I am selected for 5 companies - Iris Software, Capgemini, Quantzig Analytics, PwC, HCL, Infinite. Salary discussions are about to start and I'm confused. I'm not good at this. Can anyone suggest?
