The company has a very good management professional and HR to reach for the change of project or in any support. Good work culture. For skill development there is lot of opportunities either in digital applications or in IRC with some very good books.

Dislikes

Following the same hike percentage for freshers and lateral entry is not fair. Even after 8 years You could see that the person often switch has greater pay scale than the person who is loyal to TCS. In Promotions manager would play a political game there.

No ethics, integrity at senior level. Freshers are treated like resources. Senior's are egoistic and do manipulative tactics at freshers. More importance is given to non-skilled employee than skilled one. Veg ambience in regional places is not good. There is biasness and discrimination in regional offices.

The higher management, particularly within PS India (Indian projects), often exhibits unprofessional behavior—marked by arrogance, a lack of basic courtesy, and an unreasonable approach. During my initial tenure at TCS, I was unfamiliar with certain company policies. I was instructed to arrange self-funded travel with an assurance of reimbursement, only to later be denied repayment on the grounds of policy non-compliance. Shockingly, this refusal came after a whole year of persistent follow-ups, highlighting not only a lack of accountability but also a disregard for employee welfare—whether mental, emotional, or financial. Manager shouts at you and humiliates you in front of others. They load you with too much work which takes 12 hrs of working in the weekdays and also in weekends. There is favoritism so you will have to also take up the work of people who do not work and happily butter manager for a living. It is a very toxic workplace. They keep 5 lpa as your variable pay and hardly pay 20 percent of that so your ctc is reduced by 4lpa straightway. Hike is 1 - 2 percent annually. They do not maintain any hygiene in the canteens and there are flies and cats and dogs roaming around. Bathrooms are dirty and so is the drinking water. There's nothing good about this organisation. People are pathetic, and neither want to work nor learn about new technology. TCS is 5-7 years behind it's competition when it comes to its offering. People who has never changed in their life are running the show and think they are the successor of Late Sh. Ratan Tata. People who have moved to overseas treat others badly, you'll be surprised people belittling others over Teams call.. Senior director level individuals will tell you over the Teams call that they don't need your past experience. HR in this organisation is simply useless, and doesn't pay heed to your grievance. If your experience is between 8 to 10 years and you've zeal to work like donkeys and don't want to learn anything new then this organisation is for you.. Also, if you think you'll be travelled to overseas for projects then rethink your decision since only few individuals travel who are good in licking.. Medical insurance which will cover for indiviual and family floater upto 12L which is highest when compared to other MNC's.

Worst work culture and corporate politices. You will never get a salary hike. hike will be worsest around industry like 1%, 2%. If you are above 40 nothing else to do in else, no need to career growth or hike, you can just work as timepass!!!
