They have many projects and if project is good , work life balance will be there. Mediclaim policies are also ok

Poor increment and promotion. HRs OMG crazy people . Investment declaration for whole year has to be done in April itself with proofs , you can't just get away with declaration

In TCS you have flexibility....you can choose projects, reject projects, learn lot of things through various learning platforms. Though during project, sometimes managing learning is an uphill task. Low salaries for long timers is a big drawback. It boasts of being agile but does not use agile for running its own day to day operations. Resourcing is in a big time mess, people working on project have to invest a lot of time in resourcing, there's no dedicated team within the projects ( even projects as large as with 300 people). Quarterly bonus is almost certain to be zero at 12+ yr experience levels. Old school mentality still exists in TCS, where wearing Jeans is a crime on weekdays. Low salaries Late night meetings Leadership vaccum, super seniors are like arrogant bosses, they cannot toleryone word against their decisions. Quarterly bonus is virtually non existent at 13+ yr experience levels

Job security and work life balance. Again, work life balance depends on project to project. But, at the same time, you will be able to change the project over a period of time.

Salary is below average and they don’t believe in making salary upto market standard. As per TCs senior management, TCS is known for job security and not good salary. If you don’t like it here , enjoy somewhere else. If you put down your paper, they will congratulate you 😂

Performance Appraisal system is an eye wash in most of the cases. It purely depends on the manager of your manager. Though you meet the goals and perform beyond the target, banding is done based on what the manager's manager wants. If your manager does not have a say on what his manager decides, even if it is unfair, you will end upgetting a low band and hence your career growth and compensation may get impacted....Read More
