Huge client base, place for an experienced perminent employee. Best campus like siruseri. Biggest onshore offering company in India

Dislikes

Never join as a fresher, toxic work environment. Manager centric. Work hard earn nothing work smart( escape from work with big mouth) get good rating and hikes. More work with less quotes from clients so work pressure will b more at onshore.

TCS is a big company which is highly structured. They have already devised ways for managing things like they have a separate team that helps you to find projects for you, separate travel team, etc. They have a strong work culture with inclusiveness at its core. Also that have various big clients that opens up doors of opportunities.

Dislikes

Of the recent, I feel that TCS culture is suffering.Once I was proud to work here, now it feels suffocating, too much office politics, not much respect for individual. This can be a problem with only certain accounts, but I have suffered it for more than 2 years now. I don't see much progressive attitude now in seniors as well as peers.

Work Details

Depends from project to project. Your biggest advantage here is that you can Chang your customer/account if you don't like your current work. Getting release can be a challenge many times though.

The company is open to innovation.I worked in domestic project but still I got the good complement. Though my colleagues were in different places, they helped me a lot. We worked as a team to achieve our goals. I learned new things there.

Dislikes

The work pressure was high,because I had to 2 night shifts continuously and 2 morning shifts continuously, like It seems I got only one day off per week. So I got pressurised.
