Likes

Good work life balance, management do not trouble employees outside office hours. Compensation was good when hired, however, variable components were huge. (3 months of salary were added in the form of variable pay).

Dislikes

Shopee did not had a long vision on how the market will be and how long they can sustain in Indian market. There were no proper speculation on government intervention. All employees were asked to leave all of sudden. All policy SOP were adopted from other outside Indian markets. Employees were blindly asked to follow what was implemented in other countries, instead of curating something for Indian consumers....Read More

Set clear boundaries and prioritize tasks to maintain productivity. 6. Maintain a polite and friendly demeanor, even in virtual interactions. 7. Use video conferencing tools to stay connected with colleagues. 8. Prioritize integrity by delivering high-quality work. 9. Take ownership of your career by setting goals and seeking feedback. 10. Establish clear expectations with colleagues and managers. 11. Celebrate achievements and recognize progress to stay motivated. By applying these lessons, I've been able to thrive in a remote work environment.
