Working at PNB Card was highly stressful due to constant pressure from the RSM, with 10–20 calls daily demanding credit card sales. Customer concerns were ignored, and many were deemed ineligible after months of waiting, leading to frustration and verbal abuse. RSM Mr. Jinesh Shah (Surat, Ahmedabad, Baroda) had an impractical, target-driven approach, prioritizing numbers over customer service.

Apart from the comfort of job security, there is nothing much to like about working with PNB.

Dislikes

Extremely pathetic, sadistic and disgusting work culture. Highly incompetent HR team, which takes more than 4 months just to process house lease rentals of employees and more than 2 months to process resignation (without notice period). No need of merit for promotion if you are good at boot-liking. AGMs and above are given differentcircles and zones to run, which they run like dictatorship without any sort of responsibility and accountability. This is a national largest institution, the work done here is trustworthy, there is no problem in money transactions, the plan explained in 24 hours is absolutely correct and I have a lot of confidence in it.

Dislikes

There are very few branches of Punjab National Bank everywhere, that is why I do not like it here because it is such a big bank that it should have two-three branches everywhere, in every city, in every street, in every market.

Frequent transfers to remote villages create hell lot of family problems and other problems as well. Banking sector has hell lot of corruption and you will feel very insecure if you are moral.
