It is proud to be a PNBIAN as bank is second largest public sector bank.Every employee is taken care of with regard to HR matters.Promotion policy is good.

Today bank has diverted from banking business to other non banking business like insurance,which had affected usual banking business and work culture.Undue and illogical policies had done immense damage to the bank.Lot of target oriented business including insurance and retail loans had affected the morale of the employees and officers.Sanctioning of loans and opening of accounts takes more than the reasonable time.Bank had failed in understanding the demand of the customers which resulted in customer complaints.Bank should take appropriate action in dividing the manpower to gain fruitful results.One division exclusively for processing and sanction of loans within a reasonable period of 7 days and other division for expansion of customer base.Training of clerks and officers particularly in understanding the culture of people and their banking demands.Bank have to improve credit by going outwardly beyond the four walls of the branch. More tie up with automobile manufacturers and dealers and opening counters in their show room and sanction of loans immediately will increase credit growth.Gold loans in South India is another high income portfolio. Credit cards to deserving class (Home makers, small business owners and salaried) will increase credit card business.Failure to monitor transactions by antimoney laundering and compliance division had affected the image of the bank....Read More
