They didnt let me switch to technology which i had experience in. They put me i a project which was totally out of my knowledge and eberyone was atleast had more than 5 years of experience in those projects. They gave me bad rating because i didnt outperform, i did meet expectations even in the field i didnt know anything about. They changed the eligibility criteria for promotions everytime when i was eligible. They didnt provide single penny hike to experience employee like me for 2.5 years and hired freshers at higher comp....Read More

No good hike. For JL4 , JL5... 6-8%. I am taking about 2017-2024 period. Some part of Variable also taken away .. Leave encashment - basic pay only. NI rating was given intentionally without any warning.. HR are unaware of Notice Period policies.. I wanted 5 day early release from company . Initially some HR said possible, later they said not possible. And I had to spend 90 days full .

Skill Development They have Lex portal Which more then university or wikipedia of technology , you can learn any technology from there as per your time also skill trainnig is provided

Mangers Like "Maulik " and "Anmol " are not good , they misguide the new fresher before taking in projects . these leads are insuficent with technical skill it will create lots of unecessarynoice in project , thing which can be done in hours , ussually take weeks becuase of skill gap in senior roles of lead and mangers , they are in the organization since 10 or 12 years so they became lead and mangers, even junior system associate technical skill is better then this leads and managers , specially i have wroked two telecomunication domian project i.e, Proximus and Telenet where Gpm is rude they dont even talk properly. I have joined as fresher no hike,no pormotion in 2.7 years of working, in project like EOS they forced us to work more the 14 to 15 hours daily this went for next 6 month ....Read More

Work life balance depends on the project. Infosys works on faith, unnecessarily it won't take any action. Salary growth may be slow, but to learn there are many opportunities it will provide.

No Hikes this year as well they said they'll give 5-8% but for peoples who recieved ECR (Early career rewards) they didn't give hike which is quite disappointing. because, worst part is they were only giving 5 % whereas even maid wants 10% hike every year. We work really hard and in return what we hear? that a lateral joinee getting double package while us working for a client day and night and getting nothing out of it. I am writing this at 3 AM finished overtime without any additoinal pay + no hikes. It's really frustrating. I have joined infosys for a contratul role and funny thing is even my manager is not sure with my role. He is not sure why he hired me. Once project got stabiled he told to leave on 29 November 2024.then internally got an opportunity to attend interview with a project manager and amazed with his knowledge. He has the knowledge of 5th standard student and expecting the contractual people to have PhD knowledge. Never join in infosys for a C2H role . Company is good, but the managers used to pressure sub coordinator to work more and they used to take rest. Huge politics in the team.

Dislikes

Unwanted politics between the team, Manager used to help them who is closed to them. Manager used to have gutkha on the floor since they are in facilities team. Very bad culture in bhubaneswar infosys. No one giving correct information to top management.
