I don’t like much aspects in infosys and its policies.

Dislikes

First of all there will be no hikes even you work more than 4 years and even if you work up to your mark exactly when the appraisal time they’ll release from the project so that you can’t ask them for appraisal if you ask for appraisal they will say you are not in the project till the projected time so you are not applicable for appraisal.

It does train you for the hardcore professional corporate world. Be keen to learn and you will find a way to stumble upon something good be it a project, colleagues or even technologies. Take every failures as a learning and success as a part of your professional journey towards your growth. Some managers are quite good , they will reach out to you personally if you require any help.

Dislikes

The work is always there but so does the bench period. Sometimes you will have to settle for the less as it's a lottery based system for assignment of projects for freshers and you will have to be patient in terms of growth. People starting from absolute zero, it will take decades to reach a substantial level of financial security but there is no easy ladder to reach any required level.

Salary hikes- they won't give salary hikes in 2 years or more , promotion- many employees are waiting for mandatory promotion of role for more than 3 years when they should have gave promotion in 2 - 2.5 yrs, job security is okish

Dislikes

No hike even after 2 years accross all levels. Believes in lean team thereby increasing work pressure on all resources constantly. Expects resources to stretch and has no regards for personal life and work life ⚖️.

Dislikes

Heavily dependent on who and how your manager is, they can make or break your career. They would support you if they are nice people else they won't lift a finger. Employees are always addressed as 'resources'

I was recently selected for the Senior Associate Consultant role at Infosys, and I had high expectations for the opportunity. However, my experience has been very disappointing. After receiving the offer, I was asked to resign from my previous position as soon as possible, which I did. But just one or two days before my scheduled joining, Infosys suddenly halted my onboarding without providing any valid reason. My advice to those considering joining Infosys is: do not resign from your current job until all your documents are approved and verified. Infosys can unexpectedly withdraw their offer and provide unexpected reasons or excuses for rejection, leaving you in a difficult and uncertain position. Worst place for freshers to join, as there is no room to learn or grow in what you are interested. But if you are are yes sir/mam and always there to please people perfect place for you as they will make you work for 12-15 hrs a day.. and salary is obviously lowest.

Infosys have good working environment and employees are free to choose their project and also domain . There is no micromanagement under any job hierarchy

Job security wise and learning wise okay.

Dislikes

No hikes for multiple consecutive years for laterals, atleast 3 to 4 years, need to be very hard internally. Lot of politics, onsite only for who put down the papers. Unit work will be more than the project related work or sometimes equal. Good Ratings are not given eventhough you perform very better. Mediocre management and various pathetic company policies.
