HR roles and responsibilities and their visibility could be better. Flexibility in office hours results in odd timming for employees who have family responsibilities, and by and large is at the hands of your reporting manager. 75% of the large accounts and associated project work is US and UK based, consequently employee end up working at odd hours, thereby taking dents at work life balance. Initially I was placed in banglore but it seems northees will never fit there.. people use to talk in their native language. Upon asking what was being discussed nothing was answered. Shifted to gurgaon via internal movement.. here the manager's behaviour is like a pampered kid. If he doesn't get what is required he will start misbehaving with the team. Overall a pathetic experience

The work environment is not good here and the worst things is the senior level people which is not supported anymore, who fire anyone without any solid reason.Ever since I left this company I am in depression.Due to this I could never join any other company again.

Nothing I liked. The leaders in Bangalore especially Q2C team follow bad practices by promoting their family members, relatives. The leaders or Managers don't follow ethics. IBM is a great company but leaders or managers in Q2C are very bad

Flexibility and projects were good. Good exposure. Good perks related to bluepoints.

People manager doesn't know what efforts you are putting as my PeM was different from project manager or project leadership. Partiality by my PeM as he had strong relationship with one of the resources. In short my PeM was toxic. Only got 4 percent increment in 2 years. No promotion.

Uncertainty over job. Poor promotion culture where some of the associates get promoted easily and for others it is tough as anything. The perks too are being given that way only.

Dislikes

Salary hike and promotions are big concerns here. Managers always brings your PMR ratio and will say that you are not eligible for hike. There is no HR interaction and everything should through PM. If your PMR is greater than 1, you'll never get a hike in your lifetime. So join the company with high package and never expect any hikes further.

A hybrid work model. No need to come to the office. We can complete as many certifications as we want. No restrictions on the hours I can stay at the office. We can punch and go back home.

Favoritism is based on location. If you work with Kolkata people, they will just make use of you. They will exclusively focus on negative thoughts with you at the end of the year. Technical skills should be the basis of the rating score, not employee based location.
