I like that people over here are very humble and always help you to learn.

Dislikes

No worklife balance. Biased leaders. Too much work. Have to work more than 8-9 hours a day. Even on weekly off you have to work. Working on fixed term contract and one thing I have experienced that they will only appreciate people who are regular employees. Too many meetings and pressure of hiring. Number of targets are there. Cannot take a leave as well.

It seems like that your seniors are supportive and concerned about you but nothing is like that. They don't even care if you are not well, they want you to work even if you are sick. No work life and personal life balance. Lots of politics and people are jealous of you. I got sick after the covid vaccine and asked for a leave, afterthat I got a message from my senior that I want you to attend the meetings and your leave is canceled. Can't give enough time to my parents because now it is all about work and work. People in IBM made me realize that I have done a mistake to choose to work in this organization. Good exposure and learnt a lot since you have to learn to do things across various functions as there is no support from management

No benefits provided No can facility Micromanagement Forceful mandatory in-person interviews for which no one show up and double the targets so it’s impossible to achieve and putting people in PIP and firing No sourcing support Mandatory 3 days a week in office and Saturdays working with no comp-off and even if you miss one day out of 12 days a month the calculation they are doing is so wrong and bad for employees that it shows non-compliance for 2 weeks even if you go for 11 out of 12 days and escalating against employees on this. Inspite of being the best performer, no appreciation email or blue points ever received, no bonus as contractors are not eligible for it inspite of working 12+ hrs a day and no hike, no benefits, no wfh, not able to leave early and mandatory campus hiring events outside of regular work with no credit for it, mandatory going for office lunches and events and need to pay for yourself in pathetic food places....Read More

1. The brand name (which doesn't help you get another job at all). 2. Streamlined tools for work.

Dislikes

1. Lack of flexibility - Employees are being forced to return to office. Company is hell bent on its stiff processes. 2. Dissatisfying work - Crashes your hopes when you join once. The work can be done by any 12th pass. No use of skills & experience. Even HR people are required to make calls like telecallers all day -80-100 calls each day excluding other work and you're expected to talk to people like robots -very frustrating. Have seen everyone leaving the job because of this very reason. 3. No work-life balance - Employees are expected to work like robots and in recruitment season they are EXPLICITLY ORDERED to work even on continuous weekends without any compensatory off. 4. No learning path or growth - As everyone in the team and one hierarchy up is doing more or less the same repetitive and manual work with no learning scope....Read More

As a brand its good to say people that we are working in IBM and have got exposure into SAP and learned new things

Dislikes

Terrible work culture, no work life balance, terrible management, no one will understand what we are going through and what we are expecting from company.. No support from senior management. In terms of TA its worst company to work.
