There won't be any promotion and hike and if an employee work with 200 %dedication ,their won't be any hike at all.I mean how employee will be motivated for the next year and finally they will leave the company.If you need any HR support or IT support,there is no helpdesk number.You have to depend on chat bot which are worst.They neva give proper reply which you really want from them.

Initially I was placed in banglore but it seems northees will never fit there.. people use to talk in their native language. Upon asking what was being discussed nothing was answered. Shifted to gurgaon via internal movement.. here the manager's behaviour is like a pampered kid. If he doesn't get what is required he will start misbehaving with the team. Overall a pathetic experience

As long as you are in any project, you are treated well

Dislikes

If you are in bench, you are on your own. You have to find your own project. No support from management. Finally, golden handshake will happen, if you can't secure any project.

It's good company to have flexible working hours and job security is there.

There is no HR in IBM and employees don't even know who is their HR. It's manager driven company and we don't get much hikes and promotion process is very slow.

I like to work (I feel like family), coming to work there will be no macro management if work is done no one will ask where you are, I used get cross trained when I will be feel free so that I proudly saya have learnt more in IBM.....

Company is very good but people are bad. Supervisor along with other employee Bully. when made complaint nothing happens. Dont let you do job and dont follow hr policy. I was tslked very rudely by female supervisor and males bullied me by doing gestures. IF any thing happens like , do not hesitate to go to police.

I had a really good time working in IBM. I was lucky enough to get a chance to change my skillset and jump into Generative AI which is the on-going most wanted skillset and worked on really good projects. The mentors and senior management is really good to help you discover new opportunities.

Internal movement between teams is almost always a fight. Often people are made to work in mixed bag of tasks/technologies, that might make one a jack of all trades and makes specialisation in one/some skillset go away.

Company is filled with people born and brought at the same organization, with zero respect for anyone else. Most of them are like self proclaimed heroes and have a bad attitude. Pro tip. Most of the people can be categorized under the header "topper's syndrome", if you google the symptoms of the disease

As I am working since 1 year, I love the culture of IBM and there is more possibility of learning and upgrading ourselves. And IBM always prefer the women as priority first it will provide more beneficiary to the women employees.

Depends upon the team you are working with, generally a nice company with very convenient workspace and culture . No strict timings ,Salary is Good 👍🏻

Medical insurance and other benefits are average. No cab facility for us . Most of team members reporting that they have less work life balance and additional working hours.

Liked initially about the work life balance and quality work but it lasted for few months.

Extremely manager centric company, no visibility for good work, no hike no promotion for many many years, and recently company culture in many specific teams got extremely toxic.
