If you are in bench, you are on your own. You have to find your own project. No support from management. Finally, golden handshake will happen, if you can't secure any project.

The worst decision in my life to choose IBM. The work environment is not good here and the worst things is the senior level people which is not supported anymore, who fire anyone without any solid reason.Ever since I left this company I am in depression.Due to this I could never join any other company again.

Nothing I liked. The leaders in Bangalore especially Q2C team follow bad practices by promoting their family members, relatives. The leaders or Managers don't follow ethics. IBM is a great company but leaders or managers in Q2C are very bad

It's good company to have flexible working hours and job security is there.

There is no HR in IBM and employees don't even know who is their HR. It's manager driven company and we don't get much hikes and promotion process is very slow.

The working culture and their integrity towards their employees,i am really fond of it. They make sure their employee don't suffer and their is no bossy culture for sure,,their are multiple learnings they are providing so that you can improve your technical skill for your career growth.employee are helpful as well as they really mean it when it comes for team success.

You can easily take sick leaves.

Small term and very outdated projects. In interview even in client interview also they will ask questions like NASA but at ground level you will get work like a fresher. If you are an experienced person your all knowledge will get rusted here. And if by any chance you want to change the project. You need to face very bad politics. Fully managers and scrum masters are major. No scope for developers and technical people career growth. They are just billable resources. No hikes and pramotions may get GDPR yearly once.

They are too flexible in terms of work, productivity matters here. No strict work from office which is great by the way.

The promotion cycle looks terrible and of course, it is a service-based company, so can't expect a huge salary hikes.

The hybrid policy even before covid. So work-Life balance is there. With wide number of projects, there are ample opportunities to work. Overall culture is good.

Taking Leaves are a struggle here unless you support in other areas. Minimum utilization is there and thus taking leaves is a pain.

Only work culture is good but that will put you in their comfort zone and you will never progress professionally.

Dislikes

People manager and HR are totally waste and they are never interested in your career path. You need to fight with everyone in IBM for your band progression. HR puts gun on People Manager and fires the employee. Your band progression in IBM is your worry and not your manager's worry.
