Favouritism. Unskilled people deployed in HR, who are from BA, ops. And QA backgrounds. They don't even know the true meaning of HR. Just being favourites of the boss they would enjoy all benefits and neither themselves nor the boss would do any work. Too much toxic of a culture. Their HR department needs quick overhauling to turn the game.

It was so worst that I cannot explain. Leaders of my department did not know how to work, they would always get their own work completed by one of the te members and due to this, never understood ground level issues. Adrupt behavior, Favoritism, politics and lots more is part of HCL' s culture right now. Management is silent as theynever know of those issues because: 1) they would never interact with the team without their supervisor. 2) if someone makes that courage of bringing all the issues into the notice, then he would be their next target It's the worst I ever worked for. You would be asked to work for 10-12 hours and still no appreciation, rather you will always get to hear. Overall work culture is good in HCL but i feel if you are under management role there is alot of politics, drama and bad experiences that you will face. I have been here for 2 years and it’s nothing what i though it would be. Additionally, the appraisal letters are released after 1.5 years for any employee here which is not fair at all

Work Culture here is good. People are friendly and suppportive, leaving few exceptions. Working hours are flexible. Hybrid working system is employee friendly.
