Hcl was good in before 2022 and the project managers knows how to get business and things
Current mangement especially Suresh Khanna who is taking care of utmost project is very poor. He doesn’t mind to bring new projects to HCL rather he wants to chit chat with girls and provide all promotion,increment,OT and on-site opportunities. There is a girl in his team who don’t know to work. If someone ask questions he behaves like hitler. This project is completely hitler rule no one can question him. He himself says I can do anything. I liked that the work environment is not toxic. We can go for a walk in the break time to refresh the mind.
I don't like the timings of the shift here. 10hours shift + 3hrs travel time. And according to the shift time and work load salary is very less than expected.

There's no work life balance, no proper hike, no promotions. Even if you get promotion you won't get much increment in salary, There is no shift allowance even for night shifts.

A complete mess. The sort of experience I had along with some of my colleagues who joined on the same date was appalling. What I found out that the communication from HCLtech's end is disastrous on so many levels. Now I am not sure if it's the project which we were going to get tagged or not, but the experience was not good. Have you ever heard of an employee going to bench after joining a new company. No communication whatsoever was provided what was the reason behind it, then after 2 weeks, we were invited to train and get tagged to a new project for a different role, we were trained for 1 month on and off and after that again no communication about what is happening. After 2 months of training and anxiously waiting for the outcome, they inform I am not getting tagged because the client needs my passport and I don't have one. Never did HCLTECH ever say that Passport was mandatory. Post that I had to apply for a passport to avoid another scenario as such. Appalling experience....Read More

1. Less number of team members leading to high work pressure during peak hours. 2. Unable to get expected leaves due to less number of team members. 3. It has various projects, so you don't have to worry about it. If you are keep updating yourself with your skills set. You'll always get the work.
Hike and appraisal, it never happened on time and didn't get updates about the delay, sometime it delayed for 9 months also and got hike very less like 1-3% even if you are top performer. It's all clients centric, so no one will be there to defend or protect you if client doesn't like for any reason. Managers are just puppet of client and higher management. Training and course will be pushed to you and no one will consider that if you are completely occupied in your work . It comes in ad-hoc based and you have to complete it in time by doing it in night and in weekend sometime. Management will push you for new idea and lead generation and despite considering the nature of project it is considered as a mandatory activity to do otherwise your appraisal will get impacted. It has 10-15% variable which hardly 1% people are getting in full. Earlier monthly variable was getting full but later that also made with rating based and you will never get 100% as you can't add idea and lead generation always....Read More
