Only job security is a pro in HCLTech, unless you are someone with 15-20 years of experience at some management level.

Dislikes

Hardly any projects, only support projects are there. Skill development is poor. Pathetic salary hikes. Appraisal cycle will be postponed without any reason.

There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. They try to fraud you in whatever way possible. They drag everything as long as they can. All bonus, rewards strech easily to 1 year delay and if you resigned in between you are not eligible even if it's their fault in delay. No ethics. No rules.

HCLTech is one of the India's leading IT Services based organization. I will suggest to all the freshers to take an opportunity and get a MCN experience, HCL is the best for very earlier stage in your carrier. It's medical benefit is very nice.

There so many dislike points are there: 1. HCL doesn't have good resource allocation policy for the experience people. 2. Worst HR policy as a MNC organization. 3. Managent also not as good as MNC. 4. One the worst salary structure I ever seen in HCL. After changing HR policy CTC got effected and deduct more salary with the name of EPB bonus. 4. There is no job satisfaction dou to project allocation. Bench people doesn't know in what kind of project they will be assigned. 5. HCL talking project level interview as candidate experience with, after joined the project candidate can understand that project is not related to his/her experience. after 18 months you can change the project, if you don't like it. For females employees company is more flexible.

No Shift allowance, only Compensatory off for holiday work, No pay for overtime, Monthly Variable Payment deduction(Rs.1500-Rs.4000), if increment happens that is paid from Jan instead of Oct for E3 band
