Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Leadership needs to be more competent. New comer less experience, average performance, but managers favorite will get appraisal in first few months even. There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. Intermediate qualified people work in PMOs and recruiting, they question and ask our weekly updates, pathetic experience. Increments are given only for every two years and that 0 to 3%. Favorism for promotions and surprise bonuses. Unrealistic demand for contribution to Value portal, just to meet the management targets. Only 18 Paid leaves are available including PL,SL,CL,EL. If you're not good in work they will definately fire you. Strict WFO policies. Unnecessary cost cuttings Work life is not balance in most of the projects. No growth no promotion no salary hike. They always expect your contribution in more than one project.

Totally like the crappy attitude of useless HRs. I always wanted something to push me to edge, and hCLs internal politics has that quality. Very good environment to fk your mental peace. Management is full of supporting people, if you are a Girl. No pedo, very safe environment. Safe for girls coz no manwhre from management level will take your no from teams and ping you on WhatsApp at middle of night. Hcl appreciate your work and passion and that's why compensation letter are only 6 months late with very huge hike of 2% After 9.30 hours of shift and 3 hours of extra work, you will have a plenty of time for your family and work life balance. HR can Totally log off by 5 pm without addressing your issue but you can't log off even if you have period, fever or almost dying...Read More
