Job Security, Work Life Balance though it depends on which client you are working for.
Compensation is less and growth is slow. Work pressure depends on which client you are working for. I have worked with both types of clients. It all depends on your luck, what project you get aligned to.
I am working for VMware client as a network support specialist (L2+). I am aligned to work with the VMware's inhouse Network Security team. My role and responsibilities are to take care of incidents be it P1 or P2 and Planning and implementing

1.Once you have joined you are on your own it takes month to resolve queries... 2.You have to take approval for leave atleast 7 days prior or its called unplanned. You got sick need to take approval 7 days prior getting because there is no sick leave. 3.Once you are in no guidance or help provided by anyone. Its been like HR Job is finished. 4. You need to provide a strong reason for leave. Sometime take approval for leave from manager or Project before Applying it . If you are short on man power on project just forget about leave . You are not going to get any even you see your comp off getting expired... 5. Its mandatory to be in office for 6.5 hour atleast if you somehow not able to make it someday you need to provide written reason for that . 6. If you have any issues there is no end to your suffering as your case will be running around in different Teams forever. 7. You get HR Partner when you got joined ofcourse its just that he never reply to your e-mail or msgs . 8. Manager is God. He will make you suffer if he wants and all you can do is absolutely nothing about it . Its that kind of a culture. 9. No hike no promotion since I joined HCL. They come up with a new excuse to not give hike in salery. After completing 6 years in HCL, I am still on the same package. If you change and rejoin then you will get a better offer

Everything the culture is not good, managers will do backstab once there work needs complete from our end. Firstly they installed some Nippon buddy to monitor whether you are working or not...even if you don't have any work also you need to do something in laptop then only it will take as you are working. Maximum 8 hrs..Main stress is to maintain Nippon buddy only and psycho Managers will do micromanagement..Very worst they will deduct more from our salary papa through employee salary deduction only they are raising HCL everywhere😶🙃. There are plenty of projects and challenges to learn from.
Management is worse. Manager’s decision is always last in case of any conflict, junior employees don’t have a say. HR is just for name sake, and never replies on time. Non of the policies that are there for employee’s benefit are followed. Work life balance is terrible.

Company policy implementation is really bad. They suddenly imposed the new policy. If you raise any concern they will not bother you. And the most painful part is EPB or engagement performance bonus. You just need to forget about it. They will not pay you the whole amount. Only 10 to 20 % of it will can expect.
