I joined in as a fresher and this company turned out to be a nightmare for me

There is nothing to like about this company . No work culture , no growth , minimum salary is given just to hang you by a thread . Employees are being exploited in the name of company policies.

Best company for freshers who want to build carrer in a right path. Exceptional performers will always be rewarded with bonus and certificates. Job security is best in the market.

Dislikes

Promotions might delay even after recommendation. Experienced resources will face gradual hike in the pay scale which is not close the market rate. Work life balance might get affected during month end period due to workload.

Hcltech is actually big organization and a good MNC to start. I'm actually fresher joined couple of months back in supply chain operation. But there are some things is there in some project. Like in our case has hybrid model but Reporting manager is forcefully say to come office only. Even my native location is in Kolkata. I want to relocate in Kolkata & work with that office. But I'm not very sure hcl has such policy or not however I didn't tell him. But due to the medical reason I need to go there i don't know how thing will manage. And if it's not happen i want to switch to Kolkata/chennai based project if possible in same lob's. If anyone can help me out regarding this pls I need your support actually!! Salary is very low for fresher compare to all other MNC. Growth is some where slow. Should to be a more professionalism from hr to reporting manager in all cases.

Job security is good in HCL.

HRs are biased. Management very poor. If employee wants to buy out notice period they don't release them and make sure that employee lose their opportunities in better company. Salary process is very poor and compensation released after 1.5 years. Even they don't give the promotion if employee gets in notice period. They don't givepromotion on skill and hard work basis. A complete mess. The sort of experience I had along with some of my colleagues who joined on the same date was appalling. What I found out that the communication from HCLtech's end is disastrous on so many levels. Now I am not sure if it's the project which we were going to get tagged or not, but the experience was not good. Have you ever heard of an employee going to bench after joining a new company. No communication whatsoever was provided what was the reason behind it, then after 2 weeks, we were invited to train and get tagged to a new project for a different role, we were trained for 1 month on and off and after that again no communication about what is happening. After 2 months of training and anxiously waiting for the outcome, they inform I am not getting tagged because the client needs my passport and I don't have one. Never did HCLTECH ever say that Passport was mandatory. Post that I had to apply for a passport to avoid another scenario as such. Appalling experience....Read More
