Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Leadership needs to be more competent. New comer less experience, average performance, but managers favorite will get appraisal in first few months even. There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. Being a new comer employee to HCL Tech gurugram, its going to be tough for me now. Its been one full month since I gave Walk in interview. And the operation interview I gave was on 28 November 2024. Its been approx 20 days and My joining date has not came yet. Earlier my joining date was 9 December 2024 but then it extended but I don't know till when. No update and nothing. Recruitment team is worst and not mapping resources correctly. Claim process is very slow. You can not expect work life balance and they expect us to work 365 days. No holiday

The management is biased and creating a shit of a good organization. No appraisals. No recognition. No growth. Only the management is growing by cost cutting and throwing people out of the organisation. Better to join a small organisation as there is no job security here also now.

Company don't bother about attrition and the company which doesn't bother about it is not employe centric. They should hire managers from top B schools or MNCs only who understand MNC culture cause current managers, PM came from lala companies have zero leadership skills and only knows micromanagement and focus on controlling.

HCL has all this support project and suck blood of you all the time, manager and team leads have no ears wats so ever to your concerns all they worry about is SLA, Cafeteria sucks big time even though it's not heavy on your pocket, Management is wast of time, Transportation has no idea to route employees correctly as there are some morons sitting there and have no clue how to roster, work life balance has no value at HCL...Read More

Leave policy is not good, very less leaves. Bench policy is not at all good, there is always a situation if you don't get the project you have to leave the company. No increment letter received since last 2 years.

Interview was good, interviewers didn't tried to exhibit their expertise. Convincingly good hike during joining.

Dislikes

HR Team is not good. Forced me to join immediately but no quick joining bonus. Usually people use personal phone number for official communication rather than internal communication tools.
