Hcltech is actually big organization and a good MNC to start. I'm actually fresher joined couple of months back in supply chain operation. But there are some things is there in some project. Like in our case has hybrid model but Reporting manager is forcefully say to come office only. Even my native location is in Kolkata. I want to relocate in Kolkata & work with that office. But I'm not very sure hcl has such policy or not however I didn't tell him. But due to the medical reason I need to go there i don't know how thing will manage. And if it's not happen i want to switch to Kolkata/chennai based project if possible in same lob's. If anyone can help me out regarding this pls I need your support actually!! Salary is very low for fresher compare to all other MNC. Growth is some where slow. Should to be a more professionalism from hr to reporting manager in all cases.

HRs are biased. Management very poor. If employee wants to buy out notice period they don't release them and make sure that employee lose their opportunities in better company. Salary process is very poor and compensation released after 1.5 years. Even they don't give the promotion if employee gets in notice period. They don't givepromotion on skill and hard work basis. Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Leadership needs to be more competent. New comer less experience, average performance, but managers favorite will get appraisal in first few months even. There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. Being a new comer employee to HCL Tech gurugram, its going to be tough for me now. Its been one full month since I gave Walk in interview. And the operation interview I gave was on 28 November 2024. Highly political and toxic work environment with biased bosses. No proper escalation channels for HR people - even I am in the HR, still we don’t have anywhere to go ! No work life balance. No salary hikes or fair appraisals despite hard work. Rude and very disrespectful colleagues and managers. Office politics at its peak ! No career growth or recognition. Employee well being is not a priority.
