It was going well with HCL but the way HCL people behaved with me many times especially during the last days of my time with HCL just to ruin my career is a worst experience which I have faced during my whole tenure. Pathetic experience in terms of working environment, people behavioral concerns etc. No support from anyone whether its your Seniors or HR or any other Team. In terms of policies and appraisals also its worst to work in HCL. I am very surprised to see that what kind of people especially Seniors we have in HCL who are highly responsible to destroy employee's career very effectively. Worst management No option for career growth At Bangalore campus food option is limited on non business hrs(although its a 24x7 company) Hike 1% or less. ODC s are pathetic with worst chairs. No scope of any improvement as it may incur cost to the project and they will not provide

Toxic culture they just want the cheap staff also there are even 0 appraisals, and they call it promotion can happen without being appraised, surely you will get promotion if you are the best but dont expect being appraised, Management is really toxic

Highly political and toxic work environment with biased bosses. No proper escalation channels for HR people - even I am in the HR, still we don’t have anywhere to go ! No work life balance. No salary hikes or fair appraisals despite hard work. Rude and very disrespectful colleagues and managers. Office politics at its peak ! No career growth or recognition. Employee well being is not a priority.

More I will think less likeable thing I will discover. Only good thing is that somehow HCL TECH has good reputation in India. Apart from that you will get lot of things to learn.

You will chances to learn new or latest technologies. Able learn process and procedures to handle new clients or Bidding projects etc.

Salary hike won't happen properly . Even if they give it will be less than 4% and can't expect when you will get a hike. Sometimes it take years together to get a hike..All depends on in which LOB you work for and which project is it long term or profit margin etc..will come to picture.so getting a hike has got multiple parameters. If all parameters fall in place you get a max 4%-5%.
