Nothing is in favour of employees and slogan of company like super charged progress seems super charged in salary deduction. There is no policy in HCL and whatever HR will say that is the policy even they don't follows there made policy. Leave policy is not good, very less leaves. Bench policy is not at all good, there is always a situation if you don't get the project you have to leave the company. No increment letter received since last 2 years.

Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Leadership needs to be more competent. New comer less experience, average performance, but managers favorite will get appraisal in first few months even. While u beinga great performer but boss doesn't personally like u, he will gv appraisal that too hike of 6% in 2.5 years (first appraisal after 2.5yrs). There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

Dislikes

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. HCLTech is one of the India's leading IT Services based organization. I will suggest to all the freshers to take an opportunity and get a MCN experience, HCL is the best for very earlier stage in your carrier. It's medical benefit is very nice.

There so many dislike points are there: 1. HCL doesn't have good resource allocation policy for the experience people. 2. Worst HR policy as a MNC organization. 3. Managent also not as good as MNC. 4. One the worst salary structure I ever seen in HCL. After changing HR policy CTC got effected and deduct more salary with the name of EPB bonus. 4. There is no job satisfaction dou to project allocation. Bench people doesn't know in what kind of project they will be assigned. 5. HCL talking project level interview as candidate experience with, after joined the project candidate can understand that project is not related to his/her experience. after 18 months you can change the project, if you don't like it. For females employees company is more flexible.

No Shift allowance, only Compensatory off for holiday work, No pay for overtime, Monthly Variable Payment deduction(Rs.1500-Rs.4000), if increment happens that is paid from Jan instead of Oct for E3 band
