Their are multiple cons in the company - 1. They will deduct money from your salary unnecessarily in the name of variable which they say is rating based. I personally never got less than 9/10 in quarterly ratings but still they used to deduct around 60% from EPB. 2. Zero hikes / No promotions. In my almost 2 year career no hikes happened. 3. Salary is on time but other incentives, your promotion, your bonus, your increments etc are in Arrears, You will get it for sure but always in arrears, HR is not at all effective. Just like your Job which is stable, your salary will be stable as well, please do not expect any other thing except Stability. Company culture in terms ofHR is not at all good, no major governance towards how management is calibrating an employee, how promotions are happening? That is the only reason I left HCLTech, otherwise, in other domains, might be the HR as people doing good things. HCLTech is a beautiful organization but some wrong people who are in that position to spoil the overall experience and culture, My advice is to hire good mature people in leadership positions and especially in HR domain.
