Manager given too much power even if he's incompetent, HR non existent , too much politics like manager can twist company policies against u and there is no check. Leadership needs to be more competent. New comer less experience, average performance, but managers favorite will get appraisal in first few months even. While u beinga great performer but boss doesn't personally like u, he will gv appraisal that too hike of 6% in 2.5 years (first appraisal after 2.5yrs). There are very few and supporting leaders in the company.

No work life balance. No proper estimation and unrealistic targets which in turn affect the employees working timings without any allowance. We are forced to work in weekends to meet the target. Only 3% hike when the company can sponsor for cricket. HR doesn't support employees but rather support the leadership. Totally like the crappy attitude of useless HRs. I always wanted something to push me to edge, and hCLs internal politics has that quality. Very good environment to fk your mental peace. Management is full of supporting people, if you are a Girl. No pedo, very safe environment. Safe for girls coz no manwhre from management level will take your no from teams and ping you on WhatsApp at middle of night. Hcl appreciate your work and passion and that's why compensation letter are only 6 months late with very huge hike of 2% After 9.30 hours of shift and 3 hours of extra work, you will have a plenty of time for your family and work life balance. One of the worst leaders you will come across in your corporate career who cares the least about their subordinates or agents. All managers are puppets to their executive leaders. No hikes or minimum hikes which we are ashamed of even sharing with our family members. No promotions or if promoted absolutely no hike for getting promoted. They say Promotion is not linked with annual increase. This Company is a joke. They change annexure terms or policies every year so the minimum hikes you get at the end does not reflect any change in your take home. Infact we see decrease in our take home year on year.
