Totally like the crappy attitude of useless HRs. I always wanted something to push me to edge, and hCLs internal politics has that quality. Very good environment to fk your mental peace. Management is full of supporting people, if you are a Girl. No pedo, very safe environment. Safe for girls coz no manwhre from management level will take your no from teams and ping you on WhatsApp at middle of night. Hcl appreciate your work and passion and that's why compensation letter are only 6 months late with very huge hike of 2% After 9.30 hours of shift and 3 hours of extra work, you will have a plenty of time for your family and work life balance. I could enjoy the perks like brandname and ability to get a transfer to any location in India. Also there are some benefits like tie up some brands like samsung, lg etc.

Dislikes

Lot of office politics, too much control from top level management, abuse of powers, little to no hikes and the list goes on. HRs really dont have much of functioning as managers hold power and HRs are useless and helpless.

1 No work life balance. 2 Well being is getting disturbed. 3 10 hours of shift. 4 Extending shift is normal here without getting OT. 5 Leadership is very bad, no support and always pressurise. 6 work load is high, they tend to get the work of 6 people from 4.

Regarding The US project, Please Note: if you are ready to work as a slave, You are a perfect fit for this company and Note : ( you don't have an allowance for US projects Night shift). You don't get your "Variable pay" Every three months, they create new policies without any information. One of these policies seems like a way to steal your salary under the name of EPB adjustment Monthly For example, it starts with 500Rs and may increase based on your salary range. The HR and US project manager are the worst Both are well-trained to fool the employees. There is no specific criteria for promotion and salary hike for laterals is not satisfied. Some time they won't give hike. They won't provide valid reason also. Very disappointed in terms of salary hike and promotions.

There are no perks or no benefits. People cannot understand under what criteria the promotion and appraisal are given . In my term i have seen a team lead on a analyst position and an general agent who reports to him as a senior analyst i really don't know how and lead has less salary then his junior team members

Highly political and toxic work environment with biased bosses. No proper escalation channels for HR people - even I am in the HR, still we don’t have anywhere to go ! No work life balance. No salary hikes or fair appraisals despite hard work. Rude and very disrespectful colleagues and managers. Office politics at its peak ! No career growth or recognition. Employee well being is not a priority.
