I got opportunity to restart my job after a break.
Client is God, even if client is doing things unethically it cannot be highlighted. Some of my colleagues were badly abused and exploited, when they complaint, they were released from project without taking any actions. HCL fill seats of projects with family or friends of client which results in bad culture and dirty politics withinproject. Here people work for their own survival not for learning or innovation. HRs in HCL never respond or rudely respond to queries raised which further demotivate the zeal of a person working at HCL. Appraisal cycles are always delayed and postponed. 1. Health cover of 5 lac with room cap limit of 5 thousand in ncr location. And there is copay as well for dependent. 2. Policies are created with respect to employer benefit like Engagement monthly bonus which they cut on monthly basis even if you have 9 score out of 10. 3. Not good hikes and generally at 3 and 4%. 4. Liers, in press conferences they said appraisals will be given to employees in OCTOBER while they have not even provided it till December and is expected to move forward to JAN OR FEB which was earlier expected for July. In short since 2 years no appraisals. Moreover forget about appraisals, they will even cut your EPB component. They don’t even have any process for deciding EPB payout, they randomly decide it. If you want a safe job where you dont get laid off, then this is a good company. They give you a healthy work life balance.
Forget about appraisals, hikes or bonuses. In 2 years i got zero hike. When they change project they could change your base location even without your consent. I was hired as an automation engineer but later i had to switch to linux System Engineer role.
