No Transparancy in increment cycle, delay in promotion and very low increment delay almost 1 year, No opportunity for growth after promotion. They always try to cut salary in terms of cost cutting as per variable policy and quarterly rating criteria 😅 Paid Cab facility 3 month notice period

Rating: 1/5 Review: Working at HCL Technologies has been a challenging experience due to multiple areas of concern: Work-Life Balance: Almost nonexistent. Employees are expected to put in long hours with little flexibility, making it difficult to maintain a healthy balance. Career Growth: Opportunities for promotions are extremely limited, regardless of performance or dedication. Career advancement feels stagnant. Compensation: Salary hikes and bonuses are rare, even for high-performing employees. This lack of incentive is demotivating and undervalues employee contributions. Work Environment: The workplace culture is far from ideal. It often feels toxic and unstructured, making day-to-day work more stressful. Leadership and Management: Poor leadership and ineffective management further add to the challenges, creating a lack of direction and support. Marketing vs. Reality: The company’s marketing campaigns and advertisements portray an image of growth, opportunities, and a positive work environment, but my experience has been quite the opposite. Salary hike is point of worry. Please don’t expect hike. Negotiate as much as possible before your joining so that you will not have regret of being under paid but yes always remember your future salary also depends on what are you getting previously.

I liked that the work environment is not toxic. We can go for a walk in the break time to refresh the mind.

I don't like the timings of the shift here. 10hours shift + 3hrs travel time. And according to the shift time and work load salary is very less than expected.

A complete mess. The sort of experience I had along with some of my colleagues who joined on the same date was appalling. What I found out that the communication from HCLtech's end is disastrous on so many levels. Now I am not sure if it's the project which we were going to get tagged or not, but the experience was not good. Have you ever heard of an employee going to bench after joining a new company. No communication whatsoever was provided what was the reason behind it, then after 2 weeks, we were invited to train and get tagged to a new project for a different role, we were trained for 1 month on and off and after that again no communication about what is happening. After 2 months of training and anxiously waiting for the outcome, they inform I am not getting tagged because the client needs my passport and I don't have one. Never did HCLTECH ever say that Passport was mandatory. Post that I had to apply for a passport to avoid another scenario as such. Appalling experience....Read More
