I really had a bad time working with cognizant. To begin with, the project I worked for won't treat freshers properly, very rude teammates and a manager who won't even hear your problems when you tell him/her. No career opportunities despite getting certificates from new technologies. No salary hikes, base salary is too low and it will seriously question how bad your career is going to be, Toxic work culture and no regard for work/life balance. Managers and supervisors readily exploited my work and deliberately gave low ratings just because I questioned the poor management. It is very bad. Definitely won't recommend this company to anyone who values their life. No interesting roles no proper timings forced many times to work weekends without any pay.

Salary, hike is also not much. being a programmer I am working same as my colleagues who are PA but I am getting paid very less compared to them.

Salary compensation for BSc graduates is very low even after completing probabtion period they are not paying well it takes two years to get salary of a engineer graduate who gets at his first month.

Learned work etiquette, environment and learn new skills and got supportive colleagues.

Dislikes

No proper Work-life balance. There's no balance between work life and personal life. Senior/managers only wants that employee will work work and work. They don't follow the timming of their shift even work overtime and expect other people also do the same. There's no time management.
