Great place to try out diverse project experiences if you have positive attitudes to learn everything. Leadership is passionate of new technology and client centricity. Pays competitive salary benefits may not be high at times but sustainable for long, rewarding association. Will recommend people to experience Cognizant.

Dislikes

If you remain too good on a domain, likely you will get trapped into it and not allowed to learn horizontal skills. So keeping a balance and relationship to horizontal people are important in any large project centric organization.

Its not a great place to work after Francis left from Organization. Work life imbalance, hike and promotion are very worst. Leadership wont follow HR policy like transfer, incentives etc. Where employee will claims money for their official work. Only leadership people are enjoying their life with greater salary package and their earnings. Current CEO is taking more pkg but gives very poor hike to employee like 1-2%. Not a good transport facility service. Job security is also not there. Very short term projects. In most of the projects, the case is like one person has to do job of 3 people. If there is requirement of 3 people then they will assign all those task to single person. In terms of hike, even if we work harder and show our appreciations still they will say budget issue. I like working in Cognizant, I won’t say this is best place to work, but if you are looking for settle or tired of weird culture or any issue. This company is better then those.

Dislikes

Here Manager literally owns the company, straight forward rule, you have do everything that your manager says, to manager and get progress. Variable and Bonus get cut down to 20-30% only. Even if you perform the best.
