While in working with Cognizant you have to forget your work life balance because you will be forced to worked more than 10 11 hours daily and If you don't, threat of laying off will be given to you through your TL and managers

Supervisors and managers are biased. No oportunities for skill development. People don't get promotion on time. Salary hike is not satisfactory. They negotiate on the no of days asked for leave. Work life balance is good. Job satisfaction is also fair. Company pays fair enough. I am not satisfied or I should say I am not impressed with the appraisal procedure implemented by the management. Post 1 year no appraisal at all or the performance bonus. They have their own way of doing it in the month of July or August and it doesn’t matter when you have completed 1 year.
