Bad appraisals, strict wfo policy because of which you will get stuck during big emergencies, strict promotional criterias, low salary for entry level, not sure about higher level people

We can enjoy the company of colleagues in the beginning as a fresher.

Dislikes

Hike and the ratings are absolutely worse as they compare with your peers and downgrade stating as normalisation. I got downgraded twice and was told both the times as next time will take care but useless. Absolutely zero appreciation of hard work here. Max 2 years and then switch.

Despite the fact that cognizant is not directly involved, the management team is the worst because I had a bad rating once and spoke with my HR about it. She said that it was illogical to claim to be able to speak Hindi, and they do not care about employees. While some employees are excellent, favoritism is a non-issue in the Kolkata office. I will not receive any better senior support that would help me start from scratch....Read More

I can list innumerable dislikes. 1. HR role is not in line with his or her work, and seeing such service from such an MNC, particularly in Kolkata office, truly hurt me. 2. I believe that the best way to force the company to leave on its own volition is through favoritism, which is the most advantageous attack by the poor managementof the Kolkata office. 3. You must look for projects on your own, work hard to earn your rating, and fail every time if you are not a Bengali. 4. No work-life balance; you have to work on weekends and late nights, and as a result, you will be highly appreciated with a very bad rating and feedback. 5. salary is very low and there is no hike or promotion if you are not favourite candidate of your manager...Read More
