Dislikes

Few members of the global large deals team are worse. Priya raghav and Ashwini rathore doesn't know how to talk to people. Ashwini even talked about my family very rudely. I would suggest don't join cognizant. Even if you join, don't join the global large deals team. Your life will be miserable.

In some departments people (especially managers) don't even respond. And forget about HRs, they'll address your queries once ina blue moon.

Dislikes

I dislike the stubborn culture. They take feedbacks and then drain them through the gutter.

Work life balance. They have multiple clients and projects.

Dislikes

The appraisal process is not good. They are using the bell curve. That promotes mediocrity . They have multiple projects but they deploy you as per their convenience not as per your profile or preference.

There will be plenty of scope to learn and improve yourself. You'll definitely go to different heights if you manage to stay here for few years and move out.

1. Do not expect much salary hikes. Even well performing employees have received less than 10% in the last 2 years.. 2. Do not expect promotions.

I don’t know in which era the owners are living in, where they think giving 5 days of paternity leaves are more than enough. I think they feel that father has nothing n absolutely no contribution in child birth and care. That celebrate pride month for a month but paternity leave is for 5 days. Horrible

Teams are supportive and enough manpower is available for project management departments. Work is linear and outcomes are well estimated with realistic expectations from upper management. More opportunities are provided for an individual's upskilling. Additionally, opportunities in the bench pool are ample to explore new roles/tech.

Departments run without cohesive org structure; few teams are reinventing the wheel with the same routine work.

if you in bench, HR will torture you to put resignation within one month. also you have no option to choose project and select anything worst comes to you. no proper shift allowances will provided. they have zero 0% for mental health 100% for work.

Cognizant will not pay you well , Even if you are eligible for a better pay at the correct time they will release you from the project so that they don't have to promote you

Auto Promotion seems to be a good thing however, I didn't get it as I am completely 2 years with organization
