Very bad appraisal, and no value for the loyalty. The hard work goes vain, nobody notices. No promotion..No proper recognition and benefits. No guidelines followed for the promotion, talent hunt.

Capgemini has a good work life balance. Offers many financial offers like leasing of cars and many more options. Capgemini offers more on-site opportunities for the employees. The Hybrid policy is more flexible than focusing on the number of hours in the office. Have plenty number of offices in major locations in India so one could relocate easily within country.

Dislikes

The pay and compensation is way lower than any competitor in the Service based sector. After being for 3+ years just 15% is hiked till now on total compensation on what I have joined the organisation.

They dont care about Work life balance .. in some projects u will need to work for more than 10 hrs daily.. Sometimes they missed to communicate important notifications with me like - Furlough leave, When i asked they told me about the furloughs. Also salary hikes are low.. For small Duration u can join like 1.5 years later u can switch.

Biased managers ruining the company culture, committed towards bringing their friends and family into organisation and giving all appraisal money to them. If you don't have any source here you will not get any hike.

Capgemini believes in work life balance. We used to have furloughs. Otherwise also tasks were not rushed. Sufficient time was given for each task. In case the task required to be hurried, time was later given to relax, before starting a new task. Trainings were good and knowledgeable. You were never denied leaves, provided you applied atleast 45 days in advance, for long leaves. Otherwise also managers and team leads were good and understanding. As mentioned, job stability was not there. Once you are out of a project and HRs are not showing enough interest to get you interviews for new projects, you should understand that the company wants you to quit. You would immediately understand this shift in behaviour, once you are out of a project and no one contacts you for next three weeks.

I expected 10 years with Capgemini 4 times I got 0% annual appraisal not only me many people they didn't get any appraisal, 4 times I got highest rating but appraisal % like 3%, 4%, 2.19% like that. I advise please don't join Capgemini for Non IT (BPO).

Work life balance is good. Company culture is very good. Job security is normally good although in some teams especially when market is bad, Capgemini has strict bench policy.

Appraisals are very poor. Like 5% average for top performers. Some BUs offer 8% (for top performers). Promotion hike is also less. Sometimes people get dry promotion. Otherwise company is good.

Extreme micromanagement and use of softwares for tracking activity. Compulsion of working 12 days in office per month, not even 1 day less. Tracking the number of hours spent in office.

HR policies too worsts, I have cleared the technical rounds and not released offer letter. HR reply is previous company which worked 10 yrs back not functions now its in default list. How come employee responsible if any companies closed. If Capgemini also not functioning after some period of time, want to blame employees? I have all the documents and worked genuinely for all companies and requested to HR to check that period of time companies functioning or not. HR disconnected the call and no response for calls or messages. HR unprofessional behavior disappointed . My humble request all, Pls don't join Capgemini they not following any standard policies. I have one advise for Capgemini. if there is no project requirement why you are hired the people . And the trained people simply sitting on bench there is no update from project interview and didn't receive a single call from project interview,, again hired the people the bench people throughout due to layoff,,there is no future in this company,,,, I have worst experience 😭 my future totally gone......Read More

Popular paid certifications are not free for Capgemini. There is a process so that half amount will be paid by company but there's lots of terms and conditions, and even the payment is not done on time. Barely any salary hike after 2.5 years
