There are so many things to dislike about
1- company is literally dont care about freshers specially to PGDM students
2- This is complete Field Sales Job so nobody will tell you that you have to be in field all the time no office for this company
3- Managers are not supportive at all they only cares about business and nothing else
4- HR is waste in this company
5- Target is very frustating thing here

Nothing as such, I haven’t find anything since I joined here.
Dislikes
So many things which employees are not like, this is not only about myself but it is about whole culture of the company based on current scenario.
1. Huge pressure.
2. 70% Materials of Paint industry not available even 30% of them not started the manufacturing.
3. From day one they thought they will become market leaders on 2-3 years, so they are pressurized their employees to open Dealer as much as possible. So starting a business with a new dealer it’s difficult.
4. Due to excessive dealers no body is doing business with is, because in starting everyone want some exclusivity from new company.
5. You have to work 12-14hours on daily basis, even meetings are arranged at 9-10PM (without month end period)
6. Very few big dealers are working with us now, so selling that much items are really difficult even you can say unacceptable.
7. Dealers are not confidence enough at this point because huge issue on supply side
8. If you near around your monthly pr quarterly targets then senior will forcibly increase the target.
9. Culture is too pathetic here.
10. Don’t compare this division with Ultratech, ultratech has good working culture.
11. Most of the employees come from different industries and market leaders (will not disclose name of that company) so they are thought “if we only ask dealers then material will take by dealers”. But in the case of market leaders in terms of paint industry it’s happened due to their brand value. So working pattern some of them like this way.
12. Net landing of the product is costlier than competition, so big dealers are not working
13. End of the day you will be accountable for anything on the territory, very few managers will help you on such scenarios, because ASMs are very fearful from seniors...Read More

Birla Opus like the movie of Khatta Meetha(Akshay Kumar) . Abhi thik kar ke deta hu, lekin woh cheez aur bigad gya. Thik waise hi next month product aayga, lekin product kabhi nhi ayega. Jo hai wohi becho. Yeh kya halwa banane ka cheez hai!!! I wish just one opportunity to left this company in those days.
Dislikes
People are talking about cultures. But Culture will not end in only language part. Product is not good as compared competitor. I worked 14-18 hours in a day, rest of 6 hours I thought how do I am selling the products. Birla Opus talks bigs but no dealer are satisfied genuinely. They are making some advertisement but in 21st Century era where people use Netflix who will tolerate this ad. On their mobile screen!??
They claim that they have large distribution network but where it is?? Seems Paint Products may deliver with Ultratech Cement in same truck!! 🤣 Genuinely it is my wrist experience that I ever had in Birla Opus....Read More

1. There is literally no work life balance in this company.
2. They deduct everything in your full and final settlement including your variable pay which is mentioned in your CTC, Sales incentive and also they deduct full month's salary if you do not serve 90 days notice period.
3. Management is not good.
4. Unethical pressure to ground level staffs.
