1) One person deciding for all, their mindset reflect all over the company. 2) Bad leave policies, you get leave in fractions. 3) Most Teams using old and outdated technologies(they hire you telling the opposite) no growth w.r.t technology. 5) High level of micromanagement, they track how much time you took for lunch and washroom and also you will be made to take approval from multiple people for WFH. 6) They expect you to come to office even if it's raining heavily(definitely possible if you own a benz which the top management ppl own, but most of the employees don't even own a car), worst part they don't even have cab facility. 7) 70% of the people are here to manage the rest 30%, no product mindset only service. 8) Tight deadlines, you work till late eveings and they expect you to be present on next morning. 9) List goes on. 10) Talk to any Ex or current employees on LinkedIn before joining(recommending not to join)....Read More

Vearc history: this company is run by non technical leaders who gave very good salary during covid3 bubble for Many candidates from MNcs like Tcs infosys to attract talent, not very talented people, It clearly reflects But now quality is down. No learning as per the market standards They encourage by giving 750 rupees Udemy courselol. CTOs of portfolios are highly inexperienced, and incapable of leading. Always a lot of work and during appraisal it's compared with HCL lol. Leaders are Highly inefficient and extremely good at micromanagement. You need take permission of you need to spend more time in washroom lol. Seriously, this place is extremely harrowing. After working for many product companies like VMware, siemens etc and even in few service based companies. I can clearly declare Vearc is the most Toxic environment. Vearc is a hell. If govt wants to punish criminals rather than keeping in jail or death punishment they can put them in Vearc Vearc environment is that much worst it exceeds that of hell. Forget about benefits, this company lacks basic facilities that any IT companies in India would offer. They lack employee centric vision No empathy. First when I read negative comments I didn't believe but now I'm weeping every day. Being an adult and even father. I need to take permission every single day even if I have to leave office 20 mins early. If u call sick then gone loss of pay. Regretting every moment after I joined vearc. Culture is too poisonous. There is no job satisfaction. Employees are afraid to even talk or raise anything or even to suggest anything. Due to this fear any outsider asks any info on company, employees must only lie else they will track you. Life at Vearc: Daily spend hours travelling to office. Literally sit in zero facility office from 11 to 9pm You must ask permission from managers, leads and scrumaster even if u r spending more time in wash room. Go home late . Again take few calls. Work on weekends. Then on monday they'll praise few for working on monday, So shameless they encourage working on weekends as if employee is married to vearc to work 24/7. Huge opportunity to learn. Most of the work is product development work and you end up working directly with portfolio company’s senior leaders in US. The company has a very nice culture and you can speak to any of the senior member including the CEO of the company. We keep getting so many CTOs and CEOs visit from US and France. I am told that it has increased this year and it’s so cool to talk to them face to face. I was scared to join after seeing some negative comments but I then spoke to one friend of my friend who is working there for last 1.5 years who gave a very positive feedback. After joining I found at least 4 other people who were worried like me after seeing the negative comments. I am so happy that I spoke to an existing employee and got the right feedback. Rapidly growing organization. In last 5-6 months team has almost doubled. Unique Private Equity setup where we work directly with the Portfolio companies' tech teams, and get to work with CXOs very closely. Although it is a young org, because it is a subsidiary of a Private Equity company, there is stability, and growth.

Dislikes

For me personally, the dynamic environment is a challenge that I like and I thrive in, but fast pace and "mission driven" life is not for everyone. So if you're looking for a 9-5 with no growth, this may not be the place for you.

1. Worst service-based company to work. Legacy technology and most portfolio companies are very small and have little revenue. 2. They offer high packages and a joining bonus so that you are tempted to join the company. After joining they will show you hell. If you leave the company before two years they will take back the joining bonus. 3. Leave policy is the worst. Leaves are credited on a pro-rata basis and one sick leave for every two months. 4. There is no management hierarchy and everything is one man only for this company. 5. Too much of favoritism and politics. 6. No work from home. All 5 days in the office though they promise one day to work from home before joining. 7. Very small rented office. Number of employees working on actual software projects are about 50 only. The rest another 100+ are admin, operations, and finance. 8. Project deadlines are unrealistic and prepare to work late nights and weekends if you join. 9. No offer letter till you join and only one welcome letter is provided to offer employment which is of no use as no details will be provided in that letter including compensation. 10. I'm ashamed for joining Vearc and not joining a Better company. Or may be I must be ashamed for not being capable for moving to a better company than Vearc. the worst companies I have worked. The employee treatment is very bad. This is not a good place for IT employees. The mindset of leaders and management is totally different, They think like sales, operations or like bank managers, No technical mindset, not a technology company. U need to follow strict timings On top of that need to login when u go home and work on weekend and support the production. No complementary off. But they will praise u orally for supporting. No trust on employees. No additional benefit apart from salary. When fallen ill or during family emergency no support is provided, take leave or do loss of payment.
