1. Campany policies such as health insurance and skill development are great. 2. Work life balance is good. 3. On-site opportunities are open for everyone. Even with 1 year experience you can go onsite if there is requirement. 4. You get more money. Yes, especially in Mechanical design. Service companies give 3-5 lakh more than what OEM's and tier 1 companies.

Dislikes

1. Work satisfaction is low purely bcoz it is a service industry hence you don't gain alot of knowledge. 2. Appraisal is not depend on how hard you Work. It is more on how your account performs financially. 3. On-site opportunity are depend on your rapo with manager and other seniors. However I feel this is true in most companies. 4. Nothing Like. TCS is big name but internal situation is different and worst.

Dislikes

The management is worst and badly behaves with employee. Working in TCS (in my project) seems like we are working under and under rules of Britishers. No security and respect for females. Review for TCS, GG7.

If you get good project and client than everything is good

Appraisal and salary hike is super difficult, if you have worked for product company previously then definitely you wont like tcs for some reasons. Try to join tcs at the time you wanna get stability in life. 3 month of notice period could be a hurdle for you to find a new job
