Few campus in some cities are of City which might not give a work-life balance due to travelling. No hybrid or work from office culture Very very less promotion and hike percentage.

Dislikes

Reward & recognition are comparatively on the lower side, may be subject to a project based. Band promotion after a certain level is very rare.

They do not fire people who is not working and sitting on desk for years but they denied to pay the quarterly bonus and increment to people who is doing hard work. What a joke but it's true

Employment to freshers in recent time -this mind blowing great work TCS is doing .I would say it's kind of social work TCS is doing.

10 Hrs.- Working Hrs.compulsory.Eventhough employee who newly get appointment,not having tasks initially still that employee has to seat total hrs .Work pressure damages the employee 's health and employee can't be more productive if he always cries for long time work hrs.

I don't know anything about TCS as we are working for client. And in interviews we are selected for IT role and now we are working for the project which is not as BPS role also. Even BPS got a good project. So please understand move to the projects accordingly. There is career growth for the project that I am working for. And the project is ITMS which is simply a Apple Maps project.

very Slow growth, people working on same level for more than 5 years . Management does favoritism. No leaves approved even when there is hardly any work Toxic culture office politics cab available for night shift but lot of mismanagement and complaints never resolved

Job security is a big plus. Decent work life balance. No of employees to do a work would always be 1.5 times than the actual people required to do the required work hence less load on an individual.

Dislikes

One would always be crying about the pay one gets irrespective of number of years they spend in TCS. Promotions come in very late- spend the valuable years of your life grinding the same things again and again.

The salary hike is a joke. B band gets 5% and C gets 3%. A gets 8% to 12% (if your boss recommends higher pay hike so there's no way to guys getting A band are treated equally based on their performance. Promotions are not merit based. So you have to ask for it, make noise and keep following up. If you're an introvert, forget your promotion. HR policies are strictly enforced in the letter. Not even HR knows the spirit of the rules. Someone on the bench is asked to travel 45kms one way to spend 9 hours in the office only for the compliance to RTO rules. TCS cares is a myth. No ethics, integrity at senior level. Freshers are treated like resources. Senior's are egoistic and do manipulative tactics at freshers. More importance is given to non-skilled employee than skilled one. Veg ambience in regional places is not good. There is biasness and discrimination in regional offices.

Management sucks. Hr department is of no use, they will help you with nothing. No Appraisal or appreciation for young talents. Salary hike is literally so bad, there will no zeal left in you to work hard. Buttering your manager is considered the only option to get promotion in the company and it's a fact. And if you are genuinely hardworking you might get Appraisal but after many many years.
