1.Promotions and hikes are like lollipop 2. Work life balance is worst, unwanted pressure, even if you have leaves, you cannot avail them . 3. Company culture is bad.HR and Managers think they are the owner of the company, they treat associates badly

The salary hike is a joke. B band gets 5% and C gets 3%. A gets 8% to 12% (if your boss recommends higher pay hike so there's no way to guys getting A band are treated equally based on their performance. Promotions are not merit based. So you have to ask for it, make noise and keep following up. If you're an introvert, forget your promotion. HR policies are strictly enforced in the letter. Not even HR knows the spirit of the rules. Someone on the bench is asked to travel 45kms one way to spend 9 hours in the office only for the compliance to RTO rules. TCS cares is a myth. Everything about TCS is bad. They will harass you for everything like Work from office, appraisals, ratings, project allocation as per your skills etc nothing is aligned. There is a lot of favouritism and most of the time favours their regional colleague.

The managers and employees attitude. One such manager Mohit Pandey in TCS iON delivery team dont know the team and people management and hence give work to silent and sincere employees and other employees who resist to do work by giving any reasons like the are not understanding the process and take frequent leaves, enjoy to get salary juat for attending the office and roaming. Even after 6 months of trainings, these employyes need hand holding and spoon fiding, which the managers tell sincere employees to do, along with their overloaded tasks. I was lucky enough to be placed in team that was very helpful with each other. The training and coordination was good, general team and environment was friendly. My team and delivery manager were excellent.

TCS itself was the hindrance. It is no longer employee friendly. Underpaid, Overworked and denied overtime. The clients paid TCS well enough but we didn’t see a penny for overtime for 3-4 months, until we fought for it. Change from WFH to WFO was without exception, obligatory through floods, rains, and then asked to leave early and go home and continue work at home, since we had to leave earlier because of rains/riots/etc. Appraisals were terrible.
