Now it depends on where you are working currently. My previous job had the best work culture but appraisals happened once in 2 or 3 years. So, the salary benefits compared to that was very good, at least it happened every year even if it is only 5 to 6 %.

Dislikes

The work can be better if the people are cooperative but no one gives you the complete information about the process literally. People who have been since the inception of the process withhold the information with them and literally there is nothing you can do. You have to learn gradually watching and observing but that really takestime and a lot of effort. There is no work life balance.its pathetic. Literally you have to slog and forget about week days. The processes are so messed up and it leads to stretch without any reason. You have to stretch daily some times 13 to 14 a day. 22 to 12 hrs is just normal here. Management is poor. Nobody really cares about your concerns unless you are an asset to the team and really useful. But still partiallity and biasness exists. You have to be loud about ur work and ready to fight for ur rights or else you ll get nothing. It's not easy to work here. You have to mentally prepared for this. Work culture is pathetic i would say where you are expected to work for 12 hours a day without any overtime compensation. If you cant work for the desired amount than you need to provide a medical certificate showing any illness as a reason of not working for more than 10 plus hours.

HR department teams are mostly good but they also working for the respective departments. So they also helpless to help properly to the employee and Facilities teams, cafeteria teams, reception teams they are good and apart of nothing.

Extremely partiality and toxic work culture if you are a mediocre person and we know genius has never issues but everyone is not a genius.

Here the managers don't listen to the ideas and suggestion of the Employees towards the client query and if Associate have an suggestion. If we agrue on some of the points and try to keep our points then Associate Managers don't listen and try indirectly keep this in mind and at time of appraisal and promotion they give the negative feedback to the Mageres and Director. And also no Bonus are being stops and reason are give like your re not working properly and hardly meets the request and all. Worst company to work for. No work-life balance, constant pressure, and no appreciation for employees. Management is clueless and only cares about profits. Even they dont do the proper planning and always keeps their employees in trouble with strict deadlines, Hikes and bonus are negligible and they can do the lay off anytime to increase their client wise revenue per head.

Colleagues especially senior team members do internal politics and whatever you do to give your best. They will always pull you back by giving incomplete trainings to the work items so that you don't have sufficient knowledge and they have the control on you. They keep blaming you for their own mistakes. They will do time pass and take break as per their wish and blame on you guys for extending the shift. They will store all the processor errors and give fail back work at the end of shift time and blame that they are processing incorrectly that's why extending shift and blame that they are processing slowly so how can we qc fast. There is no unity and no team bonding in the team because senior team members and TL don't want it. They only want to rule on the processor and put unwanted pressure on them. If the processor does well, they will harrass them by naming weird names or make fun of them in front of other team members. This is very frustrating and we can't complain about them to anyone because they have good repo with managers. Manager listen to them first because they have the process knowledge. Processor can't help it and they are suffering because they also have family to look after and can't leave job so easily in this tight job market. This is the dark reality of SLF team in Canada process of SS&C Technologies. No HR in night shift. Nothing is there to like about the company, toxic environment, Pakistani Manager who wil micro manage and escalate everything behind your back, no one listens to your problems in time of need. HRs will see your message in Teams but not reply, unless you drop a mail with some very senior HR partner in cc. I would never recommend anyone to join this company.

Only 6 days a month WFO, that's only the main USP of this company. While you compromise on salary, benefits, work-life balance and are expected to be on call to support 24x7 ofcourse.

I work in reconciliations team for Mumbai- RFR India. So these are related to that team only. 1. Less package compared to competitors 2. Managers are always micromanaging 3. They expect you to work beyond shift hours and you're rewarded for that by giving 1000₹ extra in a month. 4. Kanjoosi in giving out OTs while they make you work till 8.30am to 9.30pm 5. 5% hike is what they gave last year and this year, no matter how well you perform. 6. They give 17k as salary to bcom or MBA freshers, which is outright down market. 7. SYSTEM ISSUES - omg the biggest one here, they call themselves as a technology company, but can't even provide a stable system to work on, there are always sort of issues everyday of the week. 8. They say WFH flexibility - but they expect you to login even at 10.30-11.30 pm in the night, if any work needs to be done. 9. Parag Kinariwala and Murtuza Bootwala's team of managers are pure garbage. Either they're on bulk week's leave in a month or either on calls, but they don't have time for you to call/discuss issues. 10. No scope of knowledge enhancement or growth. People working here are just there because of WFH policy and people are in their comfort zones. Take out that and you'll find so much chaos 11.
