If you are a junior in your team, everything, every work you have to do. If you ask any seniors they will just tell you back to do the work. They will make you feel YOU ARE THE JUNIOR, YOU SHOULD DO ALL THE WORK, IT DOESNT MATTER HOW MUCH WORK YOU ARE DOING, IF YOU ARE FRUSTRATED ALSO YOU CANT COMPLAIN ABOUT IT. There will be no oneto listen your shit.. people will log in attend the meetings discuss the daily work and then go to lunch dinner breakfast or god knows where. But if you have any important thing to do or you need leave you have to explain every one everything because you are a junior. If you ask any senior to do anything ( no matter you know or don’t know the thing) they will ask you back to do it but they will never take responsibility. I have worked with some great managers and leaders who have always supported and let me maintain my work-life balance. I had learning opportunities instead of working on any redundant repetitive tasks, I have worked on different different tech areas.

Dislikes

1. No financial growth, though for almost the last 3 years I have given my 200% on whatever task has been assigned to me, I have received negligible hike and no promotion. 2. In 2024 because of the company situation multiple silent layoffs happened and multiple shuffling of a team, 3 times in 3 months to be precise which is not professional and makes employees stressful unnecessary.

The transparent culture and encouragement along with empathy shown to employees is real and remarkable . You feel that your voice is heard and your view matter irrespective of you role/seniority. Also open culture is helpful to being innovative ideas and get instant support in a start up like environment.

Work ethics of some managers and mid seniors is widely poor. I haven't experienced the promised flat culture in the past 3 years. Promotions, appraisals and employee wellbeing is not taken care of. The loyalty and time an employee has dedicated to the company is not appreciated.
